Luxurious self-catering guesthouses set within the gates of a larger residence, in the exclusive resort area of Quinta da Marinha, a seafront suburb of Cascais, off the Coast of Lisbon, Casa dos Navegadores, Casa Portuguesa and The Poolhouse are equipped to the highest standards of convenience, comfort and luxury.

Charming, fully equipped and self contained, these one-bedroom luxury apartments are within walking distance to two of the most prestigious golf courses in Portugal and only a few minutes drive from the beach and the lovely historical centre of Cascais. The apartments

The house was built in the 1950’s and the present owners have recently restored it to modern standards. They retained the original architecture and structure but equipped it with all facilities to provide high quality accommodation. The rooms are spacious and have been tastefully decorated and have furniture to provide comfort for the guests.

We offer a complimentary basic starter basket of groceries on arrival that includes tea, coffee, milk, fresh bread, fresh fruit, jam, sugar and local wine.

 

Indoor Entertainment:

There is a TV with Cable TV and a DVD player, a radio/cassette player and our guests have access to a wide selection of DVDs available on request. The cable TV channels in the apartment include entertainment and news channels. There are fireplaces in Casa dos Navegadores an Casa Portuguesa with no extra cost for firewood.

In the grounds of the apartments, there is a swimming pool measuring 6m x 2m with a maximum depth of 2m (not suitable for diving). In the garden, a table tennis table, an American pool table and an air hockey table is available for the use of guests.

 

Outdoor Entertainment:

For golfers, there are many renowned gold courses in the area such as Quinta da Marinha golf course, Oitavos golf course, Penha Longa, Quinta da Beloura or Estoril Palacio.

Sintra is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with ancient palaces and houses along the cliffs and in the cobbled streets of Sintra, dating from the Moorish occupation and later.

Enjoy lunch or dinner in one of the many outdoor restaurants in the gardens of Casa da Guia, walking distance from your apartment.
